Why Global Upstream Industry Should Attend the World Energies Summit

We asked our COO, Daniel Davidson, to give it to us straight - what makes the World Energies Summit a must-attend for those at the forefront of global upstream activity...

Taking place 1st – 2nd October in central London, the second World Energies Summit is fast approaching and follows an overwhelming response from 2023’s delegates - who all confirmed that this is THE event which drives global energy development. Their reasons are compelling…

1️⃣ Once again, we’ve cherry-picked a selection of governments from around the world who are committed to the development of their natural resources. This year they hail from Asia Pac, East Mediterranean, North Africa, North America and Latin America. Some are frontier, some are more established – ALL are of interest to the investor community.

2️⃣ This is the only upstream event where ONLY the key decision makers are in the room. And if you want to speak to one of your fellow delegates, the scale of this event means you will get to do so, no question.

3️⃣ Our location is central London, our timing is 1 – 2 October. These are deliberate choices. We’re ideally located between the western and eastern hemispheres. And at a time of year when there are many industry events taking place, we’re timed ahead of the crowd and as a convenient stop on the journey elsewhere.

4️⃣ Talking of travel – we bring the global E&P hotspots together in one location. Operators and investors cut down on their travel by spending just two days at the World Energies Summit and know they will hear the latest E&P updates from a range of regions, whilst sharing knowledge and experience in a relaxed and confidential environment.

If you’re active in the global upstream industry, we’ve made it as effective and straightforward for you to get to the heart of all developments from the countries where the investment opportunities are vast.
